If you're looking for a highly experienced gum disease treatment and dental hygiene expert in Surrey, our state-of-the-art clinic in Chessington can help.

Our expert dental hygienist, Karen Innes (GDC No: 120910) is known for her gentle yet highly effective techniques and is passionate about promoting good oral health and advice on gum disease treatment and prevention.

Gum disease is the main cause of tooth loss in adults. Maintaining good oral hygiene will help keep your teeth and gums healthy.

Preventing tooth decay and gum problems is always better than cure. At Mouth Road Dental Surgery we recommend visiting our dental hygienist at least every six months. With regular oral hygiene check-ups, we will be able to assess the health of your teeth and gums.

Failing to brush and floss your teeth twice a day can result in gum disease developing. This is when bacteria settles in the pockets of your gums and then hardens into a plaque. If left untreated this could form into a more serious condition called Periodontitis resulting in the loss of a tooth.

During your visit, our dental hygienist will remove the plaque and any light tooth stains before polishing your teeth to feel like new. You will also be shown how to keep your teeth and gums healthy as well as advising you on dietary advise if this is affecting your oral health.

Reviews
Dental hygienist Reviewed by Bob Jenkins on "As I have not been to a dentist in many years I was a bit apprehensive but the people at this dental practice were very understanding, compassionate and caring. I was able to put my concerns to them and received the best advice and dental care I have ever encountered.

Mr Patel and his team are fantastic and very knowledgeable and the resident hygenist (sorry I am terrible at remembering names) was a delight, exceedingly proficient and very re-assuring. All in all it was a great experience."
